My Story.

I know what it feels like to be lost in the darkness—and I know the way out.

I grew up in an affluent neighborhood in Orange County, California, the only child of two hardworking immigrant parents. From the outside, it may have looked like I had everything—privilege, opportunity, and a bright future. But on the inside, I felt like I never quite belonged. I was shy, introverted, and burdened by the cultural pressures to become someone I wasn’t. While others were destined for careers in medicine or law, I wrestled with my self-esteem, my body image, and the quiet but constant feeling that I just wasn’t enough.

In high school and college, I called myself a “studious party girl”—someone who appeared to have it all together but was quietly unraveling. What started as social drinking became something more dangerous. By the time I was in graduate school, alcohol had become a crutch—my way to cope with trauma, insecurity, and the weight of unmet expectations.

At 25, I was drinking a bottle of wine every night. By 28, I found myself alone, defeated, and ashamed, staring into a trash bin filled with 11 empty bottles after a weekend I couldn't even remember. No celebration. No company. Just me and the harsh realization that this wasn’t who I was meant to be. That moment was my turning point. I knew if I kept drinking, I wouldn't survive. And I knew deep in my soul that God had something greater planned for me.

I chose life. I chose clarity. I chose healing.

I sought help from my mother, my doctor, and eventually found deep restoration through yoga and meditation. These practices didn’t just support my recovery, they became the foundation of my transformation. I’ve now been sober since November 15, 2019, and today I stand as a woman with strong self-worth, a peaceful mind, a healthy body, and a life filled with love, purpose, and connection.

But more than anything—I stand ready to serve.

Since finding sobriety, I’ve helped others do the same. Friends, coworkers, and even strangers who thought they were alone—I’ve walked beside them as they rediscovered their strength, reclaimed their happiness, and reconnected with the beauty of who they truly are.

I became a sober guide because I’ve been there. I know the fear. I know the shame. I know the lies addiction tells. But I also know what’s possible when you have the right support, the right tools, and someone by your side who truly sees you.

If you—or someone you love—is ready to take that next step, I would be honored to walk with you. You don’t have to go through this alone. There is light at the end of the tunnel. And I’m here to help you find it.

Even if you are sober curious, I am here to support and encourage you.

Why Me?

I’m here because I’ve been exactly where you are. As someone who grew up in a world of high expectations and silent struggles, I know how easy it is to look “put together” on the outside while feeling lost, numb, or alone on the inside.

My descent into addiction started gradually—what began as a way to socialize, and de-stress became a daily habit of self-destruction. I hit my lowest point in 2019.

Alone, ashamed, and terrified, I made the decision to reclaim my life. With support, structure, and a deep commitment to healing, I found my way to the other side. And now, I dedicate my life to helping others do the same.

Testimonials

"Anita-

There are people who walk into your life and their impact echoes forever. For me, that person is Anita. At a time when the weight of addiction felt unbearable and hope seemed like a distant dream, Anita stood by my side—not with judgment, but with compassion, patience, and unwavering belief.

Sobriety is not a straight path. It’s a daily battle, a personal war that tests your spirit, mind, and heart. But Anita never let me fight alone. Anita answered late-night calls, sat with me through the darkest moments, and reminded me who I was when I had forgotten. When I didn’t believe I could change, Anita did.

Thanks to her support, I’ve not only found sobriety but rediscovered myself. I’ve learned to feel again, to hope again, and to live again. Every victory I’ve experienced—every sober day, every healed wound, every step forward—is in part because someone chose to love me through it all.

Anita, I owe you more than words can say. You were my lifeline. You believed in my healing when I couldn’t see it for myself. I am forever grateful."
